Overview

STX.1 System Monitor is a comprehensive Windows system utility that provides real-time hardware monitoring, system optimization, privacy protection, and productivity tools. Designed with a sleek AMOLED dark theme, it offers professional-grade features in an intuitive interface.

Getting Started

System Requirements

Installation

1. Download the ZIP file from the Download page
2. Extract the ZIP file to a folder
3. Run STX1-SystemMonitor-v2.2.0-Setup.exe
4. If Windows SmartScreen appears, click "More info" then "Run anyway"
5. Follow the installer prompts to complete installation

First Launch

1. Launch STX.1 System Monitor
2. The Dashboard will display your system's health score
3. Use the left navigation menu to access different features
4. Configure your preferences in Settings

Dashboard

The Dashboard provides a comprehensive overview of your system's health and performance with real-time metrics and quick actions.

Health Score

A real-time score (0-100) indicating overall system health:

Dashboard Widgets

• CPU Usage - Current processor utilization percentage
• Memory Usage - RAM usage with used/total GB
• Disk Usage - Primary drive space utilization
• Battery Status - Charge level and charging state (laptops)
• Network Status - Connection type and current speeds
• Temperature - CPU and GPU temperatures with status
• System Uptime - Time since last restart
• Cleanable Space - Amount of junk files detected

System Monitoring

CPU Monitor

Real-time CPU performance monitoring including usage percentage, core count, clock speed, temperature, and per-core utilization where available.

GPU Monitor

Graphics card monitoring with temperature readings, GPU model detection, and status indicators (Cool, Normal, Warm, Hot, Critical).

Memory Monitor

RAM usage and management showing total memory, used/available allocation, usage percentage, and one-click memory optimization.

Hardware temperature tracking for CPU and GPU with color-coded health indicators:

Process Manager

View and manage all running processes with CPU/memory usage, process details, and the ability to terminate unresponsive applications.

System Optimization

System Cleaner

Remove junk files to free up disk space including Windows temporary files, user temporary files, Windows Update cache, Recycle Bin, browser cache, thumbnail cache, and log files.

Registry Cleaner

Fix Windows Registry issues including invalid file associations, orphaned software entries, broken shortcuts, obsolete startup entries, and invalid COM/ActiveX entries. Features automatic backup before cleaning and undo capability.

Startup Manager

Control programs that launch at startup. View all startup programs with impact assessment (Low/Medium/High) and enable or disable items as needed.

Memory Optimizer

Free up RAM by clearing unused memory. Especially useful when running memory-intensive applications or games.

Browser Privacy Cleaner

Clean browser data across all installed browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Opera, Brave, and Vivaldi. Remove cache, cookies, history, passwords, and form data with risk-based filtering.

Secure File Wiper

Permanently delete sensitive files beyond recovery using multiple wipe methods:

Backup Manager

Create and manage file backups with support for Full, Incremental, and Differential backup types. Features include AES-256 encryption, compression options, Volume Shadow Copy support, and backup verification.

PDF Tools

Comprehensive PDF management including merge, split, extract pages, convert to PDF, and digital signatures with draw, upload, or type options.

Image Tools

Image processing including compression, format conversion (JPEG, PNG, BMP, GIF, TIFF, WebP), resizing, and image info display.

Duplicate Finder

Find and remove duplicate files by hash or name/size matching with preview before deletion.

Large Files Finder

Locate space-consuming files with sorting by size, filtering options, and quick delete or move capabilities.

Alert Thresholds

• CPU Warning Temperature (default: 167F / 75C)
• CPU Critical Temperature (default: 194F / 90C)
• GPU Warning Temperature (default: 176F / 80C)
• GPU Critical Temperature (default: 203F / 95C)
• Low Battery Warning (default: 20%)
• Critical Battery Warning (default: 10%)

Troubleshooting

App Won't Start

1. Ensure .NET 8.0 Desktop Runtime is installed
2. Run as Administrator
3. Check Windows Event Viewer for errors

Temperature Readings Show N/A

1. Ensure LibreHardwareMonitor drivers are loaded
2. Run app as Administrator
3. Some hardware may not support temperature sensors

Cleaner Not Finding All Files

1. Some system files require Administrator privileges
2. Locked files (in use) cannot be deleted
3. Antivirus may protect certain files

High CPU Usage

1. Reduce refresh interval in Settings
2. Close unused monitoring pages
3. Disable auto-refresh when not needed
